Dr. Dalal is a licensed psychologist located in Arlington and Southlake, Texas. He completed his Ph.D. from an APA accredited training program in Clinical Psychology at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, California. There, he focused on psychotherapy with adolescents and adults as well as cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic theories. Dr. Dalal also earned a Masters of Arts degree in Psychological Counseling from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Dalal is currently a Staff Psychologist at The University of Texas at Arlington. There, he provides individual and couples therapy to students, faculty, and staff at Health Services. He is also the coordinator of the ADHD Assessment program that provides comprehensive psychological testing and treatment planning for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr. Dalal subscribes to cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches and combines them to maximize the benefit for the patient. Dr. Dalal believes that the patient should set the tone for therapy and his focus is to help them maximize the combination of insight and action in order to meet their goals.
